James G. Peterson is the owner and President of DataWorks International. James works with every member of the DataWorks team to ensure that a foundation of high-end customer service continues to be a hallmark of the company through its growth. He instills his vision of hard work and integrity into every aspect of the work process, from initial customer contact through the completion of large programs. James is primarily responsible for business development and works directly with our staff and clients on all new projects and database development. James received his Bachelors from Brigham Young University in 1999 and earned his MBA from Georgetown University. James has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology Management and Strategic Design.
Sheila and Jeffrey M. O'Connell founded DataWorks nearly 20 years ago and established a company which remains dedicated to the very best in high-end customer service and support. Before founding DataWorks in 1988, Sheila held positions in industry including programmer, technical services representative, database team leader, and director of data processing. She graduated from Brown University in 1978 and completed her M.S. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Florida State University in 1983. Jeff graduated from Brown University in 1977 and received his Ph.D. from Florida State University in 1985. Before joining DataWorks in 1989, he was an assistant professor at Davidson College and Lafayette College. Although they have stepped away from day-to-day operations, they continue to stay close to DataWorks and remain deeply interested in the success of our clients.
