DataWorks International was begun in 1989 to help companies move their critical business information from paper
files and simple spreadsheets into true relational databases. PCs were just beginning to spread throughout corporate
America and DataWorks was there to help customers get the most out of the new technology.
By the early 1990s companies were starting to network their PCs and DataWorks was assisting with multi-user database
applications for the workgroup. We helped automate the routine tasks and developed sophisticated reporting systems so
companies could make good use of the information they were collecting.
Through the 1990's DataWorks added various services such as data entry, literature fulfillment, and rebate administration.
At a time of corporate downsizing, our integrated suite of services allowed us to partner with companies to manage their
mailing lists and marketing programs. Our attention to details and our fast, efficient turnaround allowed our customers
to focus on the big picture.
Today, the web is the hot technology for corporate America, and DataWorks is there with web-based applications. Using SQL
Server databases and Active Server Page development, we handle web-based data collection as well as on-line data access
and reporting.
A lot has changed over the last 15 to 20 years. The tools businesses rely upon have evolved, and will continue to evolve.
The amount of information that companies have to deal with is exploding. Now, more than ever, DataWorks can help you
harness that information and make it work for you.
